Shipping policy

When you purchase books from Dobi Author, your purchases will be delivered through one of the following methods:

PREORDERS

Any books that are not available for immediate release will be clearly noted as "PREORDER" in the product title and description. The description will also include the expected release date. Preordered products will be charged in full upon purchase, but they will not deliver or ship until the release date. 

PLEASE NOTE: We strongly recommend that you purchase any Preorder books as separate transactions. Print books on preorder will not be printed or shipped until their release date. If there are other print books in the same order, the entire order will be held until the preorder book is ready to be processed. 

If there are any updates to a preorder book's expected release date, Dobi Author Team will email any customers who have ordered the book to alert them of the change. 

IMMEDIATE RELEASES

Any books that do not specify "PREORDER" in their description are available for immediate purchase.

EBOOKS

Upon purchase, our ebook and audiobook distribution partner, BookFunnel, will email you a web link providing immediate online access to your Ebook. 

PLEASE NOTE: These will be delivered to the email address on record with Shopify. Please check this email address as well as your spam folder if you do not receive the BookFunnel email within 3 minutes. If you have Gmail, the email might be in your Promotions folder.

The online page at BookFunnel also offers instructions on how to download your Ebook or deliver the file to your Kindle, iPhone, Android device, Nook or Kobo. If you have any issues accessing your purchased  digital product or if you did not receive a download email, visit BookFunnel Help.

AUDIOBOOKS

We've also partnered with BookFunnel to safely deliver your audiobook purchases and to assist with any technical issues you may encounter. 

Upon purchase, you will immediately receive an email providing a link to access your audiobook from BookFunnel.

PLEASE NOTE: These will be delivered to the email address on record with Shopify. Please check this email address as well as your spam folder if you do not receive the BookFunnel email within 3 minutes. If you have Gmail, the email might be in your Promotions folder.

Click that link then, on the BookFunnel page, click the Get My Audiobook button. Follow their instructions to listen on the free BookFunnel app or stream your audiobook using the BookFunnel cloud player on any browser.

Note: Your purchased audiobooks will remain available to you in your BookFunnel library whenever you wish. There are no files for you to download. Your BookFunnel account login is the same email you used for purchasing your audiobook.

PRINT BOOKS

Print books are printed to order and shipped by our print fulfillment partner, BookVault. Before ordering print books, please ascertain any specific delivery restrictions. 

Print time is usually 72 working hours. After books are printed, they are packaged and shipped directly to you by the shipping method you choose at checkout. Most shipping methods offer tracking, and when selected, you will receive tracking information via email.

Rates and delivery times will vary depending on your country, delivery address, and shipping method. Shipping to US addresses generally runs 10 - 14 working days. Shipping to international addresses may take up to 20-30 working days. 

PLEASE NOTE: You are required to provide us with a complete and accurate delivery address, including the name of the recipient. Dobi Author and BookVault are not liable for the delivery of your goods to the wrong address or wrong person as a result of you providing us with inaccurate or incomplete information.

If the shipment goes unclaimed and is returned to us, you will also be liable for the cost of a reshipment.
